When fear becomes irrational it becomes a phobia. No matter what fear or phobia you have, and there are more than a thousand of them, you will be well aware how restrictive they can be.
If you have tried dealing with them in the past, but were unsuccessful, you probably now have a strategy of avoidance. This in effect means that you will do anything to avoid being confronted by the thing, event or situation that the phobia is associated with.

Hypnotherapy can be very helpful in treating phobias, because it goes to the root of the problem, which helped to create the phobia.

Anxiety & Panic Attacks
Anxiety can originate from events and situations we encounter in life or it can start from within our subconscious. Often we have a combination of both. However, if you experience a high degree of anxiety then your ability to
cope with the normal daily-stress is impaired. This could push you over the top and lead you to experience the various physical effects of anxiety on your body, which can result from a basic anxious feeling to some or all of the symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack.

When anxiety or panic attacks strike, they can have a huge effect on a person's life. If you find that you suffer from these anxiety attacks or panic attacks, or general feelings of anxiety (general anxiety disorder), maybe even for no obvious reason, then it is time to take action.

Anxiety is part of everyday life and often it is perfectly normal. However, when anxiety attacks are unexpected or frequent, then one should consider getting help.
